Ph.D. in Health Services - General

Walden University's PhD in Health Services degree program equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide health care services to both the private and public sectors.  The program examines both the practical and theoretical health care service aspects founded on skills and knowledge that encourage both real world and research application of knowledge.  This helps students become scholar-practitioners that have acquired the education necessary to meet health care challenges.  Some of the human behavior and health issues studied include health and lifespan, health administration, social behavior, community health, professional behavior, health promotion and education and human behavior.

Some of the courses in the PhD in health services include financial accounting, information systems, health care overview, economics, principals and practices in health care, statistical applications and legal health care principles.
