The Bachelor's of Science in Private Sector Accounting from Virginia College Online offers students a very specific course of study to prepare them to work in small and large businesses, non-profit organizations, and even within government departments. Students that graduate will be eligible for entry-level positions as accountants, auditors, financial consultants, and planners. The degree is designed to be self pacing so it is possible to complete a full Bachelor's program in three years, however students can also take the traditional four-year timeframe for completion.

Students in the program will complete courses in accounting with non-profit agencies and organizations, financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting, business management, cost accounting, and internal auditing.
