Master's Degree of Aging Services Management

The University of Southern California’s (USC Davis) master’s degree in Aging Services Management hopes to offer its students the skills and knowledge necessary to work in a career servicing aging people and populations. The program focuses on training students for jobs in a number of industries, including retirement communities, assisted living housing, hospice care, and home care services or therapy programs. Students can expect to enroll in courses like an introduction to aging; applied legal and regulatory issues in aging; life span developmental sociology; end of life care; stress, health and aging; social policy and aging; and life span developmental sociology, among others. USC’s courses are taught by top professionals in the health and medicine industry who possess applicable, real-world knowledge to impart on students. The degree program is available 100 percent online via webcast and web-based discussions, although there are also on-campus options.
