The Master's of Science in Nursing/Master of Business Administration/Health Care Management degree program is geared towards providing nurses with a unique blend of advanced nursing and business management skills, which are necessary in order to manage today's innovative healthcare delivery systems. This program combines the essentials from both degree programs in order to give students the knowledge and skills needed to enhance and support patient services. This program places emphasis on the identification, analysis, and solution of complex management problems that necessitate technical understanding and balanced decision making. Functional knowledge of accounting, finance, and management is the foundation of the program. However, equal emphasis is placed upon the development of report writing, oral reporting, and group process skills.
