The Global Business Management major at University of Phoenix places great emphasis on the fundamental practices and foundations of conducting global business activities. The components of the major involve international trade and investment, international marketing, global human resource management, global value-chain management, and global finance. Graduates are encouraged to develop a "global mindset" by the program. The program is designed to reflect the dynamic nature of global business today. Graduates will also have integrated advanced topics and theories in global business management via real-life applications. The areas of skill that are stressed in this major are in accounting and finance analysis, business law, macro-economics, computers and information processing, and general marketing.
