The Associate of Arts in Accounting Degree from Strayer University is the foundation course for either moving into entry level accounting work or continuing on to a more advanced accounting or business degree. The course contains both theory as well as lots of practical experience to ensure that graduates understand not only the basic principles and practices of accounting and bookkeeping but also general management strategies and theory.

Students will have the opportunity to use various accounting software to complete projects and assignments that will be based on real world applications. Students will also learn basic taxation, auditing, financial management and budget planning as well as basic management principles used in business.
