Each online course is taught to the same standards as on-campus courses, however there is more flexibility for students to access course material and complete the courses than in a traditional course arrangement. Courses offered at Savannah College of Art and Design through the online eLearning program include broadcasting and motion graphics, interactive design and game development, historic preservation, graphic design and interior design. Some of the online courses, such as painting do have a residency component, but this is usually offered over the summer for ease of attendance.
