San Joaquin Valley College is a private junior college that was first established in 1977 and continues to provide a wide selection of two-year degree programs both in traditional on-campus and online formats. There are nine individual campuses located throughout California but students from across the United States can complete their online degrees via the Internet. The college is fully accredited through the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Courses at San Joaquin Valley College are offered year round both in the online format as well as in traditional campuses and students can complete their degrees in an accelerated rate by completing courses both online and in-person, or completely online. Most students can complete their degree programs in approximately 15-18 months.
Students that are looking for two-year degrees in areas such as business, healthcare, and technical areas will be amazed at the variety of courses the college offers. Within the business school options include corrections officer training, business management, construction management, healthcare insurance specialists, healthcare management, and human resources. Technical career education programs include aviation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning as well as computer support. Within the medical school career programs include physician's assistant, dental hygiene, LV and LV, to RN courses. Degree programs offered online include the Associate's of Science in Business Administration and the Associate's of Science in Medical Office Administration.
For on-campus and online students, San Joaquin Valley College offers a variety of student services to help with scholastic, financial and employment concerns and options. Mentors and tutors are available to help with study skills and learning course material, as well as handling concerns or issues with technology for online learners.
