The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting Degree from Rasmussen College will provide graduates with more than the basics in the demanding field of accounting. Students will use the most up to date software and accounting programs, as well as learn accounting principles and practices. In addition to basic accounting, students will complete classes in other business and related fields and the wide range of course choices means that students can individualize and customize their degree.

Courses in the AAS in Accounting will include payroll, taxation, auditing, reporting, financial analysis and business practice. Students will use real world scenarios to practically apply the theory they learn in class. In addition courses will emphasis both the legal and ethical issues involved in accounting, bookkeeping and related business areas.
