The Associate of Arts in Accounting Degree from Liberty University is a foundation level online degree that will prepare graduates to either enter the workforce as junior level accountants or to allow them to continue on to a bachelor level degree in accounting, business or a related area. The program includes the basic accounting practices and principles as well as the use of technology in accounting.

Students will learn more than just bookkeeping. Through the classes topics such as financial planning and management, budget development, taxation and auditing, bookkeeping for small businesses as well as courses on ethics and legal issues in accounting. Students may elect to complete their option courses in a specific area of accounting or include management courses.
