Keiser Universitys bachelors degree in Health Services Administration is designed for students persons who wish to pursue a career as a healthcare administrator. Some of the main goals of the curriculum is to push its students to understand the totality of the healthcare industry; to develop a students critical thinking and communication abilities; and to assist its students in learning medical terminology critical to the field. Courses that students enrolled in Keisers program can expect to take include medical office billing, healthcare medical terminology, human resources management, public policy in healthcare, supervisory skills, risk management, and health law and ethics, among others. Keiser offers all of its degree program completely online, so students in less traditional circumstances (who work full time, raise a family, or live abroad, for instance) are often enrolled. Some students may qualify for financial aid from the federal government.
