The Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology - Database degree program is designed to advance the careers of persons in the information technology and visual arts field through the development of communication skills, critical thinking, creative skills, and technical competencies that are quintessential to success in this field. Graduates can both design and create real-world e-media products or come up with technical solutions to difficult problems in hardware and software. Technology is important to many different organizations, so persons with this degree are highly valuable. The database specialization prepares persons to hold occupations in data control, and to design effective solutions for data storage (including backup and recovery operations). Graduates will also be prepared to transfer database information into different physical devices.
