The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading aims to impart the knowledge and skills needed by educators in order for them to successfully meet the unique needs of students. Additionally, persons in this program learn how to build curricula around the needs of students. Educators learn how to develop instructional programs while utilizing first-hand experiences and fun learning activates in order to enhance the educational experience for students. This specific specialization focuses on helping educators work with students on reading skills and reading comprehension ability. Graduates will be able to achieve their goals of becoming educators in reading, or of helping develop curriculums for school districts.
