Grand Canyon Universitys masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting hopes to prepare its graduates for senior and upper level management positions within business, industry, or within accounting firms and practices. During the program students may focus in on one or more specialized areas of business and professional accounting, such as financial planning, taxation, reporting, auditing or general management. The degree concentrates in on higher and advanced levels of both theory and practical applications in accounting and business management. Things the program hopes to teach its students include how to make important financial decisions in business; how to create and execute strategic budget plans; and how to manage complex financial information.
