The Associate of Science in Homeland Security program is geared towards helping students understand and develop skills in public safety and emergency procedures. Additionally, this program aims to help students develop important interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills. Students are also given a strong background in planning, implementing, and managing security operations for a variety of dynamic organizations. Homeland Security has become paramount in America today. As a result, graduates will be able to find a wide variety of career opportunities such as homeland security officers, and border patrol agents. Students in this program take a variety of courses that include Criminal Justice, Civil Justice, and Tactical Communications.
