The Business Information Systems (BIS) concentration at DeVry serves to provide students with the technical skills needed to open the door to a world of career opportunities in marketing, communications, advertising, finance, education, government service, health care, retail, manufacturing, or law. Almost every company, whether it be large or small, uses information systems in all aspects of their business. Students who choose to pursue a specialization in BIS will have job opportunities in the fields of database applications, PC hardware and software assistance and training, Internet coordination, Business systems analysis, and E-commerce-based applications.
