The Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a specialization in Leadership for Higher Education program is designed to give educators the knowledge and skills needed to successfully hold senior positions in institutions of higher education. In this program, current theory and proven practices are combined in order to give students a strong foundation in leadership. Graduates can work in a variety of educational settings such as community colleges, technical colleges, universities, or other post-secondary organizations. Learners will develop important problem-solving and research skills that will be useful in positions like department chair, academic dean, provost, or president.
