MS in Counseling Psychology from Capella University

The Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Counseling Psychology program is geared towards helping learners gain a strong understanding of counseling theory and the development of psychological testing skills. Persons in this program can elect to pursue licensure as psychology assistants or technicians. However, this program does not specifically prepare persons for licensure as an independent, professional counselor or psychologist.
