Bowling Green State University and its faculty members want to make sure online learning is right for you. Also known as, “distance learning,” this college offers regimented class schedules with standard term ends and beginnings, so online students will learn alongside traditional class attendees. BGSU utilizes a popular Blackboard portal that allows students to login online, attend classes virtually, complete assignments, and hold discussions with other online students.

A variety of undergraduate degrees are available including a Bachelor of Science in Technology, Bachelor of Liberal Arts, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Graduate degrees include a Master of Education in Classroom Technology, Master of Arts in English (non-thesis), and a Master of Family and Consumer Sciences. Students can also obtain certificates to supplement their degrees including the Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate, and the Food and Nutrition Certificate.
