One of the major goals of the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management Degree from Ashford University is to prepare students to enter the workplace as entry level managers within companies, businesses and industry. As managers trained in organizational management students will gain a strong understanding of the effects of change and organizational planning within different types of companies, both those in the for profit and the nonprofit sector.

Throughout the program students will have the opportunity to use real world case studies and scenarios to apply the theoretical knowledge they learn to real world experienced. Classes will include strategic planning, leadership and team building, organizational structure and its effect on productivity as well as diversity, economic change and company restructuring their impact on the workforce.
